Gourmet Dining: A True Taste of Donegal at Rockhill House

Where Heritage, Flavour and Imagination Meet

At Rockhill House, dining is more than a meal — it’s a celebration of flavour, craftsmanship, and the natural abundance of Donegal. From elegant afternoon teas to unforgettable private dinners and gourmet experiences, every occasion is elevated by the passion of our chefs and the beauty of our surroundings.

Afternoon Tea at Rockhill

Served from 1–4pm, Afternoon Tea invites guests to savour the timeless tradition in one of our exquisite House settings — the Stewart Drawing Room, The Red Room, The Floral Salon, or The Garden Room. A delightful symphony of sweet and savoury, prepared fresh each day and available by pre-booking (24-hour notice required, subject to availability).

Breakfast & The Church Restaurant

Wake each morning to a complimentary full Irish breakfast served in the shimmering golden Stewart Dining Room — a radiant setting where traditional fare meets contemporary finesse. For lunch and dinner, The Church restaurant and bar (located on the Estate grounds) welcomes both residents and non-residents to enjoy the finest local and seasonal produce, reflecting our dedication to sustainability, provenance, and the unique taste of Donegal’s land and sea.

Bars, Banquets & Bespoke Experiences

The House features two distinctive guest bars — The Library Bar, an intimate retreat of quiet luxury, and Kelly’s Croft, where warmth and conviviality meet country charm. For grand celebrations or corporate occasions, The Orangerie banqueting ballroom offers a truly breathtaking setting, while the Slieve League Dining Room and Cheese Cellar provide memorable spaces for private dining, tasting events, and exclusive gatherings. Dining at Rockhill House is always an experience—where heritage, artistry, and hospitality come together in perfect harmony.
