Welcome to The Wellhouse Spa, our premier wellness destination on the Rockhill House Estate, Donegal—a secluded haven, tucked into the rock which gives Rockhill its name. Your journey begins in our reception, nestled within the former estate mill buildings, built by dedicated Letterkenny stonemasons, carpenters and blacksmiths using original stone, quarried right here on the Estate some 200 years ago. This deep physical connection to nature and our Spirit of Place underpins our philosophy: the achievement of wellbeing in body, mind, and spirit.
Forged in History: The Architecture of Wellness
The very fabric of The Wellhouse grounds your visit in a sense of timeless heritage. Our reception area is nestled within the former estate mill buildings, meticulously crafted from stone quarried right here on the Estate over 200 years ago and lovingly restored by dedicated local Letterkenny stonemasons. This connection continues inside, where our treatment rooms are housed in the beautifully reimagined old stable block, retaining the warmth of their original oak beams and hand-forged nails. This authenticity acts as a powerful, unique therapy in itself.
