Rockhill offers great, light-filled spaces for presentations and demonstrations alongside rooms of genuine character and drama for moments that need more atmosphere. The Orangerie alone — a full-length glass-and-stone space with steps leading down to the formal gardens and courtyard — provides a catwalk, a showroom, or a gallery without any modification.

The stately Main Hall, the atmospheric Library Bar, the Drawing Room, the walled garden, the formal lawns — each space has its own character and its own possibilities. We can work with you to dress, configure, and light any of them to create whatever ambience suits your release.

The Orangerie

The iconic centrepiece of Rockhill House — a grand period room with the scale and presence to host a gallery-style exhibition, a press conference, or a theatrical product reveal. The Library Bar

A distinctive and atmospheric space combining the original library of the house with a full bar. Ideal for intimate press receptions, brand activations, and curated events where atmosphere matters as much as space. Works as a standalone launch venue for a select press list, or as the reception space within a wider multi-room programme.

The Formal Gardens & Courtyard

The formal gardens and courtyard — accessed from the Orangerie via steps — provide one of the most distinctive outdoor event settings in the North West. For summer launches, brand shoots, outdoor activations, or receptions under the Donegal sky, the grounds offer a backdrop that no studio or hired venue can replicate. Marquee installation can be accommodated on the lawns.

The estate’s most intimate spaces — beautifully furnished period rooms with working fireplaces and garden views. Rockhill’s 27 individually designed bedrooms make it straightforward to turn a press day into a full press trip — with journalists, editors, and influencers arriving, experiencing the launch, staying overnight, and leaving with a story that goes well beyond the product itself.

The estate itself — the hawk walks, the bee safari, the spa, the woodland, the cellar tastings — provides a programme of experiences that become part of the press narrative. A launch at Rockhill gives your guests something to write about that no conference hotel can offer.

The estate is available for full exclusive hire for multi-day press trips, giving your brand complete privacy and total control of the environment.

Room Dressing & Configuration

We work with you and your production team to configure each space to your brief — catwalk, gallery, showroom, or theatre. Access for build and breakdown is arranged around your schedule.

AV & Technical

Full AV equipment, dedicated high-speed Wi-Fi, and technical support for presentations and demonstrations. We can connect you with specialist AV suppliers for larger requirements.

Catering

Arrival refreshments, working lunches, canapé receptions, and sit-down dinners using local Donegal produce. Branded food concepts and bespoke menu requests accommodated.

Accommodation

27 individually designed bedrooms for overnight guests. Press packs, welcome gifts, and branded room amenities can be placed in-room before arrival.

Transport & Transfers

Transfers from Derry Airport (30 min), Donegal Airport (45 min), and Belfast (90 min). Private coach and car hire connections available. On-site helipad for private arrivals.
