There are very few wedding venues in Ireland where the spa is also yours alone. The Wellhouse Thermotherapy Spa at Rockhill House can be privately hired for wedding parties — and it transforms the night before, and the morning after into something altogether different.

The bridal party gathers. The nervous energy softens. The heat rooms, the pool, the treatment rooms — all of it in complete privacy, at the pace the day deserves. No strangers, no timeslots, no hurry.

The Wellhouse is also here during the months of planning. Come for a site visit and make a day of it. Arrive the evening before your wedding and let the spa do what it does. The planning season is not a waiting room for the day — it belongs to you as much as the day itself.

The food at a Rockhill wedding is not a catering decision — it is a central part of the day. Our kitchen works from the estate’s walled garden and from trusted local suppliers whose names you will come to know. The provenance of what lands on your guests’ plates is something we think about as carefully as you think about the flowers.

A highlight of the planning season is your pre-wedding menu tasting. Sit with our culinary team and work through the day’s food together — from delicate welcome canapés to a five-course banquet and late-night bites, paired with your chosen wines. Most couples tell us it is the evening the day begins to feel real.

A Weekend of Celebration

A Rockhill wedding is never just one day. The evening before, the morning after — both are part of what you are building. Host a formal rehearsal dinner in The Library (up to 20 guests) or The Stewart Dining Room (up to 40 guests). For grander pre-wedding plans, The Church by our gates offers private dining for up to 150 guests.

In the days around the wedding, we can create a tailored programme for your guests across the estate — guided wildlife walks, foraging, cheese making, restorative yoga, hiking, or clay pigeon shooting. The hundred acres give us room to work with.
